Refund policy
Returns & “Make-It-Right” Policy
We’re a small workshop and we stand behind what we make. If something’s off, please contact us first so we can help: gnobbywhatnots@gmail.com (include your order number and photos if it’s a damage/defect). We can often fix issues fast with tips, spare parts, or a replacement component—no return needed.
Return Eligibility & Window
- Request an RMA within 14 days of delivery. Returns without prior approval (RMA) can’t be accepted.
- Item must be unused, in original packaging, and include all parts/tools/inserts.
- Custom/personalized items and consumables (e.g., soil/seed packs once opened) are non-returnable unless defective.
Damaged / Wrong Item on Arrival
- Email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product, inner packaging, and shipping box/label.
- We’ll repair, replace, or reship at our cost if the issue is on us or the carrier.
How Returns Work
- Email gnobbywhatnots@gmail.com to request an RMA.
- We’ll provide the return address and a prepaid label if the item is defective/incorrect; otherwise, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
- Pack securely; include all parts and the original tray/case/insert where applicable.
Refunds
- After inspection, approved returns are refunded to the original payment method minus original shipping (non-refundable).
- A 10% restocking/handling fee may apply (waived for defects/our error).
- Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for your bank/issuer to post the credit.
Exchanges
Prefer a different color or set? The fastest path is a new purchase; once your return is approved and received, we’ll process the refund per the policy above.
What’s Not Considered a Defect
- Small variations in finish or minor surface artifacts from our small-batch process.
- Wear and tear from normal use or damage after delivery.
- Opened soil/seed packs (for planter kits).
- Missing parts due to packaging discard—contact us; we often ship replacement parts.
