The Dice Pod isn’t just a case for dice - it is the dice.

Each die is shaped as a slim cylinder, and every piece nests inside the two outer d20s to form a single compact cartridge. When you take it apart, you get a full set of standard RPG dice, ready to roll just like any traditional set.

Because everything is stored inside one piece, you always know if a die is missing before you leave the table. You don’t need a pouch, box, or extra case to carry your set.

Are these real dice or just a carrying case?

They are real, functional dice. The outer d20s act as the storage shell, and all of the smaller dice nest inside them. When you take the cartridge apart, you get a complete set of standard RPG dice that can be used just like any traditional set.

Do the dice roll fairly?

Yes. Each die is individually shaped and weighted to roll freely when shaken, rubbed between the hands, or back-spun on a flat surface. They are not fixed spinners or weighted to favor any result. The storage holes in the D20’s are equally sized and spaced for balance.

How do you roll cylindrical dice?

You can roll them in a few different ways: shake them in your hands, rub them between your palms, spin them like a top, or flick them across the table. All of these methods allow the dice to tumble and settle naturally on a random face. The d20’s work best when you place them on the table and then back-spin them so they roll back towards you.

Are the numbers easy to read?

Yes. The dice use a high-contrast black and white color scheme and a tally-style pip system. Long marks represent groups of five, and small square marks represent single values, similar to how many people count tallies on paper.

Will I always know if I’m missing a die?
